I often call Yaki Udon the “fridge clean out dish” because it’s so customizable! You can add any meat or veggie to this dish - it comes together in minutes and is such a flavorful meal when you need dinner on the table FAST. I always use the frozen udon blocks (brand on the blog) and simply rinse them in water until they’re pliable, then drain them well. I don’t recommend cooking them beforehand because they’ll become perfectly al dente in the stir fry - all these tips and more will be on the blog!
